Bärí A. Williams
Bärí A. Williams is an attorney and business operations executive and startup advisor in the tech industry. She currently advises in a legal and operations capacity for Blavity, Owl, Atipica, and Cool Cousin. She is the former Head of Business Operations Management for North America at StubHub, where she was responsible for business planning and operations to manage and oversee technical internal and external metrics, product innovation, and partnerships and drive P&L results across the company. She also serves as an advisor to startups in the enterprise and e-commerce space.
Ariel is a developer, speaker, and open source contributor. In past stages of life, he has been a biologist, periodical editor, molecular animator, rabbinical student, stem cell donor, and award-winning amateur poet. In 2015, Ariel moved from NYC to Israel, where he and his suspiciously-similarly-named spouse Ariella are raising two high-energy, bilingual children. In 2017, Ariel launched Dev Empathy Book Club, a supportive community for programmers committed to developing empathy skills through study, discussion, and practice. Ariel works at Cloudinary, serving billions of image requests daily, powered by Rails.
Brady Kriss is the founder of Ragtag, a group of tech volunteers helping activists, organizers, and candidates leverage technology to amplify their work. Ragtag's volunteer team helps with product design, development, support, and education so that their partner organizations can focus on movement-building more efficiently and with broader impact.
In 2016, Brady organized and led a team of 500+ volunteers at DevProgress, where they created Open Source tools to support progressive candidates. Brady is an alumna of the Obama '12 campaign, where she was a member of the campaign's legendary tech team as Director of Support, and of Democracy Works, where she was the Partner Success Lead for TurboVote. In a past life, Brady was a technology lawyer, focused on software licensing, technology policy, and privacy issues. She likes her new gig better.
